This is part two of a four-part conversation with Landon Baird, who has worked with Nu Hope, an organization that works to prevent suicides in Utah. They discuss the fears that prevent us from talking about suicide and talking to those who might be considering suicide and how to overcome those fears and where to get help from a licensed professional. They discuss more about Nu Hope and Landon’s experiences with Hope Squad. They talk about some of the causal factors for the increase in suicide, including social media and the culture of comparison. They talk about the power of unconditional love for those around us.
